Indigenous Leaders
INDIGENOUS NETWORK (APGF & GLOBAL GREENS)
The INDIGENOUS NETWORK was originally mooted by the Māori of Aotearoa New Zealand and First Nations of Australia. A majority of the members of the Indigenous Network comprises First Nations, Māori and Pacific Indigenes.
The Indigenous Network is focused on: [a] Policy Advocacy, [b] Calls for Inputs re Indigenous; [c] Indigenous at UNFCCC; [d] Indigenous and Climate Mobility; [e] Indigenous under United Cities and Local Government; [f] Indigenous and Loss and Damages, with attention on Non-Economic Losses; and the especially focused and developed COP31Committee focused on Demilitarisation & Climate Impacts.

Our COP31Committee
The "COP31Committee" is an initiative of the Indigenous Network, a collaboration between three key civil society networks: [a] Indigenous Network'; [b] Middle Eastern Stakeholder Group; and [c] a Civil Society Stakeholder based in USA.

To further our objectives, the COP31Committee is a member of other anti-militarism groups working and lobbying at UNFCCC. We are particularly focused on COP31 this year of 2026.
