Is there a fee for joining APGF?

[a] NO, there is no fee payable for signing up and becoming an APGF Member. [b] Most APGF Members contact us through the endorsement of their respective Country Parties; and [c] Contact us directly via secretariat@asiapacificgreens.org and we shall put you in touch with your Country Prty. Be reassured, your voluntary skills and time will be welcomed and valued.

Do I have to sign any documents for APGF membership?

NO, that is not a requirement.

However, in due time it may be a requirement to ensure the safety of all APGF Members.

Also, we can reassure you anonymity to ensure your personal safety.

What APGF Networks and Committees can I join?

With the support of your Councillors, any of the following APGF Committees: [a] APGWN; [b] APYGN; [c] Conciliations Committee; [d] Fundraising Committee; [e] Policy Committee; [f] Political Activities Committee; [g] Greens for Palestine & Middle East Peace Forum; [h] Indigenous Network (APGF); [i] "NEW": COP31-Committee initiated by Indigenous Network in collaboration with Other Partners (pending formalisation); and the other most important Committee that supports the Council is the Management Administrative Coordinating Committee (MACC).

What Global Greens networks and working groups can I join?

With the support of your Councillors, any of the following Global Greens Networks and/or Working Groups: [a] Biodiversity Working Group; [b] Climate Working Group; [c] Democracy Network; [d] Global Greens Womens Network; and/or [e] Indigenous Network.

Can I start my/our own Greens Party in our country?

We usually prefer that you try and work with others who have already started a Greens Group, however, if that is not possible, then there are a few steps to follow. [b] You must register your Greens Group in your country and you must abide with the rules and legislation of your country and your Electoral Commission. [c] The APGF Secretariat can assist and support you towards registering your Greens Group with APGF, contact us via secretariat@asiapacificgreens.org 

Can I join an APGF Committee without belonging to an APGF Country?

This is a layered question. The simple answer "No". However, towards an affirmative response, we would encourage you to contact us via secretariat@asiapacificgreens.org to progress your request towards an application to be a Friend of APGF, which is yet to be formalised under the "Partner" group. It has been set up in such a way so as to protect the whole APGF if/when Members are associated with a national Greens Party, in case of any gray areas of consideration.

I'm interested in the Global Greens Congress in 2028, can you provide any more information?

Not yet confirmed is the Global Greens Congress in 2028, which is due to be discussed and confirmed. In terms of prior agreements, it is supposed to be hosted by the Latin Americas/FVPA. You will know urgently about any details just as soon as we hear about it.
